IZAM BAGS AMBASSADORAL AWARD IN YOUTH MODELING.

Professor Yohana Izam has been hand picked for an Ambassadorial award by the Youth for All Men and Women Movement Multipurpose Corporative Society which is an umbrella body of youths cutting across the 19th Northern States of Nigeria and Abuja.
Leader of the delegation and President of the Association,Teddy Zal said they had watched carefully the leadership style of the Vice Chancellor which is beckoned on humility and charisma which is worthy of emulation.
Receiving the award at the Vice Chancellor's Conference Hall, Professor Izam expressed delight for the recognition and urged the youths to guard against being used as thugs during and after the forth coming general elections.

In a related development, Vice Chancellor Plateau State University Bokkos, Professor Yohana Izam has also received on a courtesy call by the Nigeria Institute of Town Planners, Plateau State Chapter.
The team led by it's Chairman, Town Planner Samuel Adamu Chung appealed for consideration of relevant courses that will enhance environmental protection in the University.
Responding, Professor Izam said the planting of trees and construction of water canals is inline with the universitys master plan.
Professor Izam notes that the establishment of the Faculty of Environmental Science is a deliberate effort in aligning with the Millennium Development Goals which aim is to safeguard the environment from natural disasters.
Professor Izam assured that plans are on the way to introduce new programs that will accommodate issues surrounding town planning.
