The Vice Chancellor of Plateau State University Bokkos Professor Matur Malau Bernard has called on Faculties, Departments and Units of the University to cultivate and nurture the tradition of knowledge creation and sharing by organising seminars and workshops to stimulate academic discourse.
Professor Matur was speaking during the maiden major seminar presentation in the University with the theme,"A study of the Theoretical Basis of the Tarok Naming System" by Professor Moses Galadima Pyefa former Dean of the Faculty of Arts now Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic in the University and another presentation titled the "Conversations on Film Festivals in Nigeria; interrogating the Zuma Film Festivals"by Associate Professor Edward Ossai of the Faculty of Arts.
